I'm HK! I'm a current North Carolina-based actress and director! Although I'm based in NC, I'm more than happy to relocate for work! I graduated from Western Carolina University where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre. While at WCU, I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated crossing the Spring 2021 line of the Pi Gamma Chapter.

Theatre has been a huge part of my life since childhood and I can't imagine who I'd be without it.

It's shaped me into the person that I am today.

My personal goals in the industry are to break the stereotype that’s expected of Black women in theatre and film. I aspire to add authenticity into any role that I may portray and to bring positive energy and a hard work ethic into the project(s) that I find myself involved with. I crave the privilege of exploring all the different complexities, nuances, and choices that will come with a Black woman being able to spread her wings in creative spaces.

When I'm not performing, you can find me reading (Fun Fact: I'm a librarian!), eating LOTS of fruit (we love fruit over here, ok?!), belly-laughing with my friends, telling ANYONE who's willing to listen about my love for cows and the movie Coraline, listening to and discovering new music, directing, spending quality time with my mom, or cuddling with my precious kitty, PB.
